A Classic and a must have for your Christmas Party. The French name bûche de Noël originally referred to the Yule log itself, and was transferred to the dessert after the custom had fallen out of popular use.
The "bûche" is made of a homemade Genoise chocolate sponge cake rolled with unsugared milk chocolate & Gianduja ganache, streusel biscuit, homemade Gianduja and caramel sauce. It's covered with velvet style chocolate coating, chocolate shavings and drops of caramel and Gianduja.
Storage and consumption
The Christmas log should be stored in the fridge until consumption. The cake can be kept in the fridge for 2 days.
