2022 Christmas Log Cake "Buche De Noel"
Origin
A Classic and a must have for your Christmas Party. The French name bûche de Noël originally referred to the Yule log itself, and was transferred to the dessert after the custom had fallen out of popular use.
Recipe
The "bûche" is made of a homemade Genoise sponge cake rolled with unsugared milk chocolate Chantilly cream, streusel biscuit homemade Gianduja and caramel lemon sauce. It's covered with velvet style chocolate coating, chocolate shavings and drips of salty caramel sauce. The cake comes with a jar of 70% chocolate sauce to be poured on each plate after serving.
Storage and consumption
The Christmas log should be stored in the fridge until consumption. The cake can be kept in the fridge for 2 days.
