Chocolate & Hazelnut Charlotte Layer Cake

Origin

Known as a traditional French dessert favoured by international royalty since the 19th century, the Charlotte is a timeless classic and the French version of a layer cake. Le Dessert brings The Charlotte into the modern era with a beautiful unsweetened version that features a delectable crunchy base, layers of freshly whipped mousse, sponge cake and exclusive toppings.

Recipe 

A freshly made Charlotte with layers of Valrhona Chocolate mousse, fluffy sponge cake  based on a unique crumbly base and topped with homemade hazelnut Gianduja, caramelised hazelnuts and chocolate sponge. It's circled with homemade chocolate ladies fingers and a cute ribbon. 

Storage and consumption

The Charlotte should be stored in the fridge until consumption. For an ideal experience the Charlotte should be within 24 hours.
